If you've registered for GDC, you can use the same login credentials. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat. Sessions do fill up, so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.

Bonnie RubergAssistant ProfessorUC Irvine

Bonnie Ruberg, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in the Department of Informatics at UC Irvine, where they teach in the Computer Game Science major. Previously, they served as a Provost's Postdoctoral Scholar in the Interactive Media & Games Division at the University of Southern California. They received their Ph.D. in affiliation with the Berkeley Center for New Media at UC Berkeley. Ruberg is author of numerous publications about LGBTQ issue and video games, including Video Games Have Always Been Queer (NYU Press, 2019). They are also the co-founder and co-organizer of the annual Queerness and Games Conference. Ruberg has developed and taught courses on games and society, games activism, and experimental game design.
