If you've registered for GDC, you can use the same login credentials. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat. Sessions do fill up, so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.
Previously a family lawyer and professor of political philosophy, Dr. JC Lau is an Australian transplant to Seattle and technical producer at Harebrained Schemes. She has spoken on issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and representation at events such as PAX West, GDC, Emerald City Comicon, Feminist Camp, and GeekGirlCon. In 2017, she leveraged her academic experience in the philosophy of race and gender to found the Bungie Diversity Committee, a studiowide interdisciplinary group dedicated to improving equity and inclusion at the studio, game community, and industry levels. JC 's work has been featured on podcasts and in various publications, and in 2018 she published a chapter on her experiences in Game Devs and Others: Tales from the Margins (Taylor & Francis, 2018). She is a recipient of a scholarship for Amplifying New Voices 2019, a program for diverse participants who are emboldened to become creative leaders in the games industry.
