If you've registered for GDC, you can use the same login credentials. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat. Sessions do fill up, so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.
Alex Jaffe is a game designer in R&D at Riot Games. He previously worked as a game designer at Spry Fox, leading the initial redesign of Alphabear that led to Alphabear 2. He worked as a game designer, data scientist, and software engineer on several games at Spry Fox, including Alphabear, Bushido Bear, Steambirds Alliance, and Road Not Taken. Prior to Spry Fox, Alex founded the analytics and balancing branch of Kongregate's mobile publishing division, working with ten F2P mobile developers to improve their games. He was a technical designer at SuperBot Entertainment, using player data to rebalance PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale across several iterations. He did his Ph.D. in computer science, with a dissertation titled "Understanding Game Balance with Quantitative Methods". On the side, he makes experimental LARPy theater projects, parties, and games.
