If you've registered for GDC, you can use the same login credentials. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat. Sessions do fill up, so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.
Will Bucher is a litigation associate at Debevoise & Plimpton whose legal practice focuses on intellectual property, advertising law, and emerging issues in interactive entertainment. His recent legal work in the gaming space includes representing hardware and software companies in trademark and right of publicity lawsuits, including Take-Two Interactive in its response to Lindsay Lohan, who contends that the character Lacey Jonas in Grand Theft Auto V infringes her right of publicity. Prior to joining Debevoise & Plimpton, Will Bucher worked in the legal department of Rockstar Games and attended law school at University of Chicago, where he graduated with honors. Will is the author of “Playing Around Hart and Keller’s Full-court Press: Designing a Federal Compulsory Licensing Regime for Rights of Publicity that Enables Developers and Compensates Rights Holders,” and is Managing Editor of the “Privacy Law Answer Book.” Will is a member of the Video Game Bar Association.
