Raoul is a video game and animation director living in Paris, France. After studying engineering, Raoul Barbet specialized himself in cultural and audiovisual fields, working in France, Canada and Cambodia. After several experiences in the industry (Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain, Illumination Mac Guff's The Lorax), he finally joined Dontnod Entertainment for the game 'Remember Me'.
He's the co-creator and co-creative director of 'Life is Strange' 1&2 and 'The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit'.
In parallel, he co-founded a new animation studio in Paris in 2016: Capsule Animation Studio, which specializes in high quality CGI images, trailers, VFX, video clips, etc. In 2016, Raoul gave a presentation at GDC titled, 'Life is Strange' Case Study: Using Interactive Storytelling and Game Design to Tackle Real World Problems.
