If you've registered for GDC, you can use the same login credentials. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat. Sessions do fill up, so please arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend.

Phill AlexanderAssistant Professor of GamesMiami University

Phill Alexander is an Assistant Professor of Games in the Games and Simulations program at Miami University, a part of the Armstrong Center for Interactive Media Studies. As one of the few Cherokee in game studies, Phill is also the co-chair of the Higher Education and Video Games Alliance's Diversity and Inclusion committee, and he is currently working on a book about race in video games. As a founding member of Miami University's Esports Program, the first division 1 Varsity Esports program in the world, Phill spoke on collegiate Esports at the 2018 GDC and has presented recently at the National Association of Collegiate Esports conference, at the ESC Esports Conference at UC Irvine, and at Computers & Writing. Phill also offered the first (as far as he knows) college class on Esports in 2016.
