This session will cover some of the technical difficulties of developing multiplayer games based on the personal experiences of the speaker, best known for his role in the development of Counter-Strike in 1999.

The session will give insight into using 1stand 3rd person perspectives for multiplayer games, the pros and cons of using weapon view models, network optimization for multiple NPCs as well as animation data optimization for the speaker’s latest development project with Pearl Abyss.
