This session will share why Blizzard chose to prioritize social systems in 'Overwatch' (Endorsements and LFG), some of the design decisions that went into the social systems, and the impact these systems had on the 'Overwatch' community, particularly in regard to mitigating disruptive behaviors.
Attendees will leave with an example of social systems that made a positive impact on the community, some of the design decisions behind the systems which could be used when designing a similar system for other games, and some types of data to collect as a measure of success.
