Children are not just mini versions of adult gamers. Kids' gaming preferences and abilities are affected by their developing cognitive and physical abilities. Session one will focus on the design of games for kids, including considering children's development at different ages and the implications for game mechanics, design, and story development.

Takeaway

This series of roundtables will focus on the issues developers encounter when making kid-friendly games. Attendees will be able to both share their knowledge as well as gain insight from other's experiences.
