Despite hyper-innovative technological advancements, massive investment and groundbreaking experiences, virtual reality as a gaming platform has yet to truly capture the excitement of the masses, deliver on its promise or meet its potential. And this is exactly as it should be. Adam Orth will examine VR's current (and healthy) embryonic state through the market and the lens of the experiences he's created, why VR technology remains a critically important and vital creative canvas for the future of interactive entertainment and why he will never stop creating for the medium.
Attendees will come away with a focused understanding of the VR gaming landscape, market, technology and hardware in 2019 and where it is heading for the future. Attendees will also experience inspirational and practical examples of why VR is important as a creative medium for games through the examination of the products Adam Orth has created and released since the first wave of VR launched in 2016.
The intended audience for this session will range from novice to veteran developers and video game industry professionals.
